Guía de Arrecife

What's happening in Lanzarote and La Graciosa, every morning

WeatherIsland-wide

Up to 30 degrees in the south, dust haze and a heavy swell on the west coast

A hot Sunday with dust in the air, occasionally strong trade winds inland and waves over two metres in the west.

Temperatures are creeping up: Arrecife can expect between 21 and 27 degrees, and some parts of the south could reach or exceed 30. There will be spells of mid and high cloud and high-level dust haze.

The trade wind is moderate and occasionally strong inland. On Lanzarote's west coast there is a north-north-easterly swell with waves over two metres, so take care at Famara and the western beaches. According to the forecast, there are no official warnings for the island.

And if you're driving in Arrecife, remember that from today, on Sundays only, the Vía Medular is being resurfaced, starting at the Parque Temático roundabout. Expect some closures.
