Busy Sunday: clocks go back, resurfacing on the Vía Medular and dust haze

The clocks go back tonight, and tomorrow work starts on resurfacing one of the capital's busiest roads.

The clocks go back early this morning: at 2am it becomes 1am again.

On Sunday resurfacing starts on Arrecife's Vía Medular, beginning at the Parque Temático roundabout that links El Reducto, the Cabildo and the airport road. Work will only take place on Sundays, to cause less disruption and finish before the Christmas shopping season. Expect closures, so be patient and follow the signs.

The forecast points to high-level dust haze (calima) and a bit more heat, with highs of up to 29 °C and light easterly winds.
