These are 42 protected rental flats in the Montaña Roja development, each 90 m² with three bedrooms and a parking space. Two are adapted for people with reduced mobility.
To apply you need 12 years of continuous residence in the Canary Islands (15 if there were gaps) and 5 years living or working in Yaiza. There are quotas for under-35s (11 homes), over-65s, victims of gender violence, people with reduced mobility and returning emigrants.
The deadline is 15 working days from publication in the Canary Islands Official Gazette (BOC), and you must be registered on the Canary Islands Register of Protected Housing Applicants. The Cabildo and the regional government spent €9.3 million buying the homes. The monthly rent has not yet been set.
